After more than a decade working across boutique hotels and holiday homes in London, Freddie developed a clear picture of two things.

Firstly, what owners actually care about. Not just whether their property earns enough, but whether it still feels like theirs when they come back. Whether someone they trust is watching the small details, vetting guests carefully and making sure any maintenance is caught before it becomes a problem.

Secondly, why most agencies are not set up to help. Rigid contracts. Rotating staff who have never met the owner or been to the property. No real ownership of cleaning or maintenance. A model built for the agency’s convenience, not the homeowner’s peace of mind.

When Freddie relocated to the Cotswolds in 2020, he saw the same problems. Local operators specialised in marketing only, leaving owners to manage the rest. National operators had scale but no personal service. Nobody was doing it properly.

So he built Red Kite to do exactly that. Full service, properly delivered. One team, one point of contact, every detail handled.
